Baruch Schwartz reports: "On the 70th Anniversary (2011) of the
Radzilow massacre, a small group of Israeli descendants of
Radzilowers met for the annual commemoration at the Holon cemetery.
Baruch, Alan and Ruth Schwartz (Gutferd), Avraham Dotan (Poritsky),
Avraham Dorogoy (who recorded the event and took the pictures)
and Ephraim Kowalsky.
May the sacred memories of our ancestors never cease to inspire us
and shape our identities." |

Baruch Schwartz reports: "The 66th anniversary (2007) of the Radzilow
massacre (July 7, 1941; Hebrew Calendar 12 Tammuz) was marked at the
Radzilow monument in the Holon cemetery. The only attendees were my
cousin Avraham (Porycki) Dotan of Tel Aviv, Frieda (nee Kowalski)
Aharoni, Esther (nee Szwarcberg) Caplin and I, Baruch Schwartz of
Efrat. We did manage to get together a minyan to say kaddish." |
